Job Title: One to One Maths and English Tutor

Location:

East of England, Bedfordshire, Bedford

Salary:

£25.00 Per hour

Job Duties:

The One to One Maths and English Tutor will provide individualised tutoring sessions to students in both Mathematics and English subjects. They will assess the student's current level of understanding, develop personalised lesson plans, and provide guidance and support to help improve the student's skills and knowledge in these subjects.

Required Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, English, Education, or a related field. They should have proven experience in tutoring students on a one-to-one basis, with a strong understanding of the UK curriculum for Maths and English.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, English, Education, or related field

Experience:

Proven experience in one-to-one tutoring, preferably in Maths and English subjects

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong understanding of the UK curriculum for Mathematics and English, ability to assess student needs and develop personalised lesson plans, excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate qualification in Education, Teaching Certification, experience working with students with diverse learning needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
