Job description

Job Title: KS2 and KS3 Teacher/ Tutor

Location:

East of England, Bedfordshire, Bedford

Salary:

£25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 students
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and well-being
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and behaviour

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Education or relevant subject
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 and/or Key Stage 3

Education:

  • Degree in Education or relevant subject

Experience:

  • Teaching experience in Key Stage 2 and/or Key Stage 3

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual students
  • Effective classroom management techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working with diverse student populations
  • Additional subject specialism or relevant training

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
