Job description

Job Title: KS2 and KS3 Tutor/Teacher

Location: East of England, Bedfordshire, Bedford

Salary: £25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Duties:

The KS2 and KS3 Tutor/Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 students. Duties include planning and preparing lessons, assessing student progress, providing feedback, and maintaining accurate records of student achievement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Education or relevant subject
  • Experience working with Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 students

Education:

  • A degree in Education or a relevant subject is required.

Experience:

  • Previous experience working with Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 students is essential.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the KS2 and KS3 curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
  • Effective classroom management techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience in delivering online teaching

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
