Nurture Intervention Teaching Assistant - Hendon

£55-£95 Daily Rate!
An independent school in Hendon are currently looking for an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to work as a key worker with a small group of nursery aged pupils. In this role you will carry out observations; monitoring the progress each pupil has made in your key group and discussing the findings with the nursery supervisor. This hand's on approach will give you the opportunity to tailor intervention programmes, identify which students who potentially have learning difficulties and recommend they be put forward for an EHCP plan. Additionally, you will be able to act as a role model for young children who are influenced easily, building their confidence and helping them to become model citizens later on in their lives. You will work alongside EYFS practitioners on a daily basis and if successful will be put forward for adequate training funded by the primary school.
What we are looking for?
- Experience working in a nursery or KS1
- Happy to work Term time only
- Possess a Valid DBS certificate
- Teaching Qualifications (desired but not essential)
