Nursery Nurse – Lancaster (LA1)
Location: Lancaster, LA1
Start Date: ASAP or September
Contract: Full-time & Part-time roles available
Teaching Personnel are working closely with welcoming and nurturing nursery and early years settings in the Lancaster (LA1) area, who are looking to appoint a Nursery Nurse to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a caring and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about supporting children during their crucial early years.
The role:
- Supporting children aged 0–5 with their learning and development
- Creating a safe, engaging and inclusive environment
- Assisting with planned activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Supporting children’s social, emotional and physical development
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and parents
The ideal candidate:
- Holds a Level 3 Childcare qualification (desirable but not essential)
- Has experience working within a nursery or early years setting (placement experience considered)
- Is caring, patient and enthusiastic about early years education
- Has a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and wellbeing
- Holds or is willing to apply for an enhanced DBS on the update service
