EYFS Practitioner / Nursery Nurse
Location: Blackpool (FY4)
Setting: Pre-School within a Mainstream Primary School
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Flexible – Full-time or Part-time (term-time)
Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in the FY4 area of Blackpool, who are seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic EYFS Practitioner / Nursery Nurse to join their pre-school provision as soon as possible.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated early years professional who is passionate about supporting young children at the very start of their learning journey, within a supportive school environment.
The Role:
- Supporting children aged 3–4 within the pre-school setting
- Delivering engaging, play-based learning activities in line with the EYFS Framework
- Supporting children’s personal, social and emotional development
- Working collaboratively with the class teacher and wider EYFS team
- Observing, assessing and contributing to children’s progress records
- Maintaining a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A relevant Early Years qualification (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare/Early Years)
- Experience working within an EYFS or nursery/pre-school setting
- A warm, patient and enthusiastic approach to early learning
- A good understanding of safeguarding and child development
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
