Full-Time Nursery Practitioner – Cockerham

Location: Cockerham (LA2 0EF)

Contract Type: Full-Time, Ongoing

Start Date: 17th April 2026

Teaching Personnel are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to work full-time at a warm and welcoming nursery based in Cockerham. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children in their earliest stages of development.

About the Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:

  • Support and deliver engaging learning activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Provide high-quality care and ensure each child feels safe, valued and encouraged
  • Carry out observations and contribute to children’s developmental records
  • Help maintain a positive, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
  • Build supportive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
  • Assist with the daily running of the nursery and uphold safeguarding procedures

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Childcare / Early Years / EYFS
  • Experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting
  • A genuine passion for early childhood development
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to complete Teaching Personnel’s vetting process, including DBS checks

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
