Are you a Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant looking for long-term work in a Day Nursery?
Neslon (BB9 area)
Hours: Full-time Monday - Friday 8:30- 16:30
Pay: £11.85 - £12.55 per hour
September start
Teaching Personnel are looking for experienced part-time and full-time Level 3 qualified Nursery Assistants to join a dedicated, passionate and enthusiastic team of Nursery Practitioners working in their baby and toddler rooms. This exciting opportunity is for a TA to join a warm and welcoming Day Nursery in Norwood which provides innovative, bespoke, exciting and challenging learning opportunities and provocations for the children in their care. This role will be for immediate start and will initially be on a long-term basis, with the outlook to potentially become a permenant staff member - extending into the new academic year with prospect of continuing on for entire the 23/24 academic year. As the client school is a day nursery, it is part of the job requirements to work throughout the summer holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the environment is clean, safe and secure at all times
- Attend to personal care needs – including feeding and toileting
- Build good and trusting relationships with the children you work with
- Provide feedback each day to parents/carers to ensure home life and education are working hand in hand to aid children’s progression
- Provide extra individualised support for children with additional needs in order to give them an excellent experience at the nursery
About you:
- Hold a minimum Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Early years
- Have experience within a Nursery setting
- Be passionate about early years education
- Hold a current child only DBS, or be in the position to apply for one
- Be a UK resident with right to work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
