A reputable primary school in Harrow is currently searching for an enthusiastic teacher to join them in the new academic year. Starting from September the newly appointed teacher will be the class teacher of a Year 6 class and will be preparing them for SAT’s towards the end of the academic year. This will include preparation and planning of the curriculum but also identifying pupils who struggle with particular areas of the curriculum. The school were rewarded ‘Outstanding’ in their Ofsted inspection due to the quality of teaching and the teachers’ ability to get positive responses from pupils through skilful questioning.
The school is a two form entry and is partnered with a nursery school to provide stability to all students with a focus on developing character. All classrooms are equipped with modern equipment and the children have access to a large library which is stocked termly with new recourses.
The school gives all teachers opportunities to adapt the national curriculum in a teaching style that adheres to the learning abilities within the class. By actively accessing the needs of the class, you will be able to deliver lessons that are adaptive to all learning abilities within the class. Additionally you will be responsible for providing a safe and encouraging environment where students are encouraged to succeed and develop a desire to continue to learning. Furthermore, the school boasts a friendly and energetic environment where both staff and students benefit from regular training sessions and extra curricular activities.

o Passionate about Teaching
o Possess a Valid DBS certificate
o Interested in teaching KS1
