Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a number of client schools across Lancashire, as the largest Education staffing agency in the UK, a number of Headteachers contact us as the first port of call for long-term and short-term staffing requirements.

During the 2019/20 academic year, over 130 Primary Schools have working directly with the agency in order to source temporary, long term and permanent staff for mainstream teaching opportunities.

Due to the increasing demand for Newly Qualified Teachers to begin roles from September 2020, Teaching Personnel are delighted to introduce the ‘NQT Pool’. This programme has been introduces in order to source Newly Qualified Teachers specifically for schools across Lancashire. Last academic year we received a high volume of staffing requests from client schools in order to secure teachers for long-term roles who had recently completed their teacher training programmes. During this time we had a number of teachers whom successfully completed their NQT induction whilst working through the agency. Whilst working on a long term supply contact, there is the potential to apply for a school contract following a successful probation period.

Teaching Personnel are registering a ‘pool’ of NQT’s who are looking to source their first teaching position. The majority of roles are full time, however we can accommodate for candidates seeking part time work. There is a demand for teachers across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

-          Enthusiastic and creative in their teaching approach

-          Able to inspire and motivate children by providing high quality teaching and learning experiences

-          Committed to the safeguarding and wellbeing of children

-          Committed to continuous professional development

-          Hold Good-Excellent placement reports and able to provide two references from the two most recent placement schools

Teaching Personnel appreciates the majority of teachers will be applying for contracted teaching positions. However by applying for the NQT Pool, Teachers are keeping their options open and they are able to be considered for roles within our schools.
