We have positions available in Newport, Caerphilly, Blaenau Gwent, and Chepstow
At Teaching Personnel we have a proven track record of placing NQTS into full time permanent positions. There is a direct link by initially using NQT’s as supply teachers and them gaining full time positions in those schools. As a NQT the one thing lacking is experience but working as a supply teacher for an initial period you can gain that valuable experience and meet essential contacts in a range of schools.
We are looking for NQT’s who are enthusiastic and passionate about what they do. We are always looking for the best teachers to represent us in our schools. We want teachers that we believe In and that are going to secure full time roles within the schools.
At Teaching personnel we can provide you with the necessary training (Free CPD Courses) and links to get you on the right path to a successful career within teaching. You will be supported by a personnel specialist consultant who will liaise with school on your behalf.
Responsibilities and requirements
- Ability to build rapport with secondary school-age students
- Have the drive and determination to make a difference
- Have high expectations of pupils’ achievement and behaviour
- Be an excellent and inspirational class teacher, who demonstrates outstanding classroom practice and who has children at the heart of all they do
- Be enthusiastic, flexible, creative and ambitious
- Excellent communication skills
Requirements:
- DBS Certificate on the update service or be able to apply for one
- MUST have a Teaching qualification (PGCE,QTS or QTLS)
- Two professional references
- Right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
