Are you a Newly Qualified Teacher looking to secure your first long-term teaching role?
Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable NQT Primary Teacher to join a welcoming school in Bridgend. This is a full-time role covering classes across Reception to Year 6, with class sizes capped at 30 pupils and additional support provided by teaching assistants.

This is an excellent opportunity for an NQT who wants to develop classroom confidence, gain valuable experience, and make a real difference in a supportive primary school environment.

Role Responsibilities:

• Teach classes across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 where required

• Use PPA time effectively to plan differentiated lessons for mixed-ability learners

• Work alongside and direct Teaching Assistants to support pupils, including those with SEN

• Monitor behaviour and progress, ensuring pupils follow their individual plans

• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that inspires pupil engagement

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) gained in the UK (or equivalent recognised qualification)

• Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) – guidance provided if needed

• Positive references from placement schools demonstrating teaching potential

• A proactive, energetic approach with a passion for teaching
