Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join a supportive and welcoming primary school in the Vale of Glamorgan. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Pay: £172.98 per day

About the Opportunity

As a KS1 Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting pupils during the early stages of their primary education. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that encourage curiosity, creativity, and confidence while ensuring all learners are supported to achieve their individual goals.

Working alongside teaching assistants and the wider school team, you will help create a positive and inclusive classroom where children feel safe, valued, and motivated to learn.

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons across the KS1 curriculum.
  • Create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and active learning.
  • Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, using outcomes to inform future planning.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, and school staff to support pupil achievement.
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and a positive attitude towards learning.

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will be:

  • A qualified teacher with a passion for primary education.
  • Committed to providing engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
  • Confident in teaching pupils across Key Stage 1.
  • Patient, creative, and enthusiastic in their approach.
  • Skilled at building positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to contribute positively to school life.
  • Available for a full-time, long-term position from September 2026.

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
  • An Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
