Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Pay: £172.98 per day
About the Opportunity
As a KS2 Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting pupils during an important stage of their primary education. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that challenge, motivate, and inspire learners while ensuring all pupils are supported to achieve their full potential.
Working alongside teaching assistants and the wider school team, you will help create a positive and inclusive learning environment where children feel encouraged, valued, and confident in their abilities.
Your Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
- Create a positive classroom environment that promotes high expectations, positive behaviour, and active learning.
- Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
- Differentiate learning activities to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, using assessment outcomes to inform future planning and interventions.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, and colleagues to support pupil achievement and wellbeing.
- Prepare pupils for future stages of education by developing independence, resilience, and a positive attitude towards learning.

- Skilled at building positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues.
- Organised, proactive, and able to contribute positively to school life.
- Available for a full-time, long-term position from September 2026.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
- An Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
