Are you a Music teacher looking to secure a fixed term position within a modern secondary school from Easter?

Due to a change in the circumstances in our client schools Music department, there is the need for a qualified Music teacher to join them on a full time basis, delivering Music across both KS3 and GCSE.

- Full time Music teacher required, initially for a term though could extend

- April 2018 start date or potentially sooner

- Well facilitated modern secondary school in Manchester

- Improving secondary school, Leadership and Management Good

- Easily accessible via tram and bus routes from Manchester city centre

The school is a large, secondary school situated just North of Manchester city centre with excellent public transport links for non-drivers. The school also borders the M60 motorway, ensuring accessibility from Manchester and surrounding LEAs.

The school is consistently and rapidly improving and the new Headteacher has made a number of important and successful changes since their appointment which has lead to an increase in the standards of teaching and learning schoolwide. The students behaviour is noted to be exemplary with the harmonious environment of a community school noticeable, and a sense of pride at the facilities at the students disposal.

The incoming Music teacher will join an innovative and creative Arts department, with a wealth of experience in raising attainment and encouraging pupil participation in lessons and extra-curricular activities. They will be required to plan, mark and assess for a range of age and abilities during this period.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
