Key Responsibilities:
*Develop and deliver engaging music and performing arts curriculum tailored to a wide range of abilities and SEN requirements.
*Foster a creative learning environment, encouraging students to explore their talents and express themselves through music and performance.
*Organize and direct school performances, showcases, and other events that celebrate student achievement and promote community engagement.
*Collaborate with colleagues across departments to integrate music and performing arts into a holistic educational program.
*Continuously assess student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs and objectives.
Requirements:
*A bachelor’s degree in music, Performing Arts, Education, or a related field. A master’s degree or additional qualifications in SEN education would be highly advantageous.
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, with a strong understanding of the current curriculum and SEN best practices.
*A minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching music and/or performing arts, preferably with experience in an SEN setting.
*Demonstrated ability to design and implement creative and inclusive lesson plans that accommodate a range of learning needs and styles.
*Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students and colleagues alike.
*A genuine passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive, supportive learning environment for all students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
