Job description
Part-Time Languages Teacher (MFL) – Secondary School, Bodmin
Location: Bodmin, Cornwall
Contract Type: Part-Time (0.4–0.6 FTE, negotiable)
Contract Term: Permanent
Start Date: September 2025 (or as soon as possible thereafter)
Salary: MPS/UPS, depending on experience
Are you a passionate and dedicated Languages teacher looking to inspire young minds? We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join our welcoming and forward-thinking team at our secondary school in Bodmin.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality language lessons (French and/or Spanish) to students aged 11–16. You will play a vital role in fostering a love of languages, encouraging cultural awareness, and supporting students in achieving their potential.
What We’re Looking For:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent)
- Specialism in French and/or Spanish
- A passion for teaching and learning, with a creative and engaging classroom approach
- A commitment to student progress and strong subject knowledge
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
