Mental Health Support Worker - Tameside

Job description

A Special School situated in Tameside are currently looking to appoint a multiple Mental Health Worker commencing immediately after October half term. This position will involve working 5 days per week 8.30am - 3.30am and the successful candidate will not be required to work in school holidays.

Due to the nature of the needs of the young people within the setting it would be ideal for applicants to have experience working in a children's residential setting, care home or specialist PRU is desirable but not essential as long as you can display high levels of emotional and physical resilience.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Team Teach training (Teaching Personnel can provide)

- Experience working within a specialist setting, PRU or SEMH School

- A can do attitude and strong physical presence

- A willingness to get stuck in

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
