Are you a Maths Graduate or current Maths Tutor who can show their passion for teaching and act as a role model for students?

Teaching Personnel are looking for someone who can deliver Maths intervention to both SEN School students and students taking their GCSE's this year some of these students will be in school and require extra support to raise attainment levels. Other students will be children in care who do not currenly have a school place so require specialist core subject teachers to help keep them engaged in their education of core subjects.

The positions are in the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire areas, predominantly Notingham City and Mansfield. The successful graduate will be able someone who has held a previous school-based position and able to engage young learners on a small group and/or 1:1 basis.

We want to meet graduates and tutors who can actively look for responsibility and show a massive amount of enthusiasm for the post and who have the child's best interests in mind at all times. This may mean utilising a flexible approach to differentiate your teaching to meet the needs of each individual child and it may involve managing some challenging behaviour/disengagement.

Highlights of the Intervention Tutor role: 

  • Extremely rewarding role helping pupils to succeed and re-engage in their educational experience
  • Pay range between to GBP250-GBP625 a week - PAYE (depending on qualifications and experience) 
  • Gain valuable experience implementing intervention support - excellent teaching practice for those not currently qualified and wanting to pursue a career in teaching
  • Work alongside professional teachers and Local Authority Staff
  • Flexible working hours including sessional work to be completed around other commitments
  • Consistent working patterns which you are in charge of!
