Maths Tutors Required - Southampton and Surrounding areas
With the current changes in schooling, Teaching Personnel are working with a number of schools to provide bespoke Maths Tuition across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 over the next two terms.
With the current implementation of of Catch - Up Funding and the National Tuition Programme Funding in place for all schools, Teaching Personnel are recruiting Secondary Maths Tutors to help fill the specialist needs for tuition.
Maths tuition may be required in a variety of packages including Online Tuition via our own learning platform, revision sessions for small bubble groups, small group work, 1:1 tuition on or off site. Applicants must be prepared to take on all options.
Suitable candidates will have the following:
- Capabilities to deliver GCSE Maths - this is critical
- At least 6 months experience of delivering Maths in a school setting or online to GCSE Level.
- Flexibility to work inside and outside of school hours
- The willingness to deliver to students with Special Needs
- To work in conjunction with department leads to deliver the neccessary curriculum content
- The ability to gage a learners abilities and personalise your tuition to improve their attainment
- Experience teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 in Secondary
- A qualified Teacher status or a degree in Maths
You will be paid on an hourly basis and the role is flexible based upon the number of hours you are looking for.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
