Maths tutor Manchester

Secondary school in south Manchester seeking to hire a Maths graduate to their department for a Maths tutor position, starting straight away on a long term basis.

Do you have a strong academic background in Mathematics? Do you have experience tutoring Maths or working with secondary aged children in a classroom environment or similar? Our partner school in South Manchester (M19) are looking for Maths tutors to work part time with their pupils who need additional support. The tutoring will be every afternoon and you will need to be available from 12 – 4pm, delivering sessions to small groups and also tutoring Maths on a one-to-one basis. Previous experience is desired, however if you can display a strong knowledge of Maths and a good academic record apply straight away.

The school can be reached from most areas of south Manchester, with regular bussed and a Metrolink tram connecting you to other areas. All interested Maths graduates must apply straight away for this post, you will need to have suitable references and a DBS certificate (or be eligible to apply through Teaching Personnel).

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
