Maths graduates needed for intervention roles

Are you a recent graduate of Mathematics interested in a career in teaching or education? Do you have experience working in a primary school and are you interested in a position delivering small-group Mathematics intervention lessons to Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 If yes, then we have an opportunity for you to complete a trial day at a primary school in Northamptonshire with a view to securing yourself a paid position within the school’s Mathematics department.

To apply for this role, suitable candidates will need to have:

-A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject

-Experience working in a secondary school

-A desire to enter the teaching profession at a later date

The successful applicant appointed to this role following the trial day will benefit from:

-A daily pay rate of between £60 and £70

-The opportunity to make a significant difference to the progress of pupils in a key subject

-Excellent experience relevant to teacher training applications

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
