Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate and motivated Science Teacher to join a highly regarded school in the Chichester area for a summer‑term placement. This modern and inclusive setting is well known for its strong community ethos, supportive leadership, and commitment to high‑quality education. The school has been consistently praised by Ofsted, with the most recent inspection in May 2024 awarding it an overall judgement of Good, including Good ratings for Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, and Leadership and Management, as well as an Outstanding grade for Personal Development, reflecting an exceptional commitment to nurturing pupils’ wellbeing and character.
The role will run from 1st May until the end of July, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to deliver engaging science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 in a school equipped with purpose‑built laboratories and a positive behaviour culture that enables effective teaching and learning. The ideal candidate will hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification, possess strong subject knowledge across the science curriculum, and demonstrate the ability to build positive relationships while creating a motivating and supportive classroom environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
