What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a committed, compassionate and creative Teacher who can inspire young people who may not have thrived in mainstream settings.

Essential Skills & Qualities

  • Strong ability to engage and motivate learners
  • Passion for supporting students’ emotional and academic development
  • Experience working in a school environment (secondary experience an advantage)
  • Understanding of alternative provision and SEN
  • Excellent communication and professional conduct
  • Good working knowledge of English, Maths, or Science (Grade C/4 or above)
  • Commitment to equality, diversity, safeguarding and British Values
  • Strong problem-solving and time-management skills

Qualifications

  • QTS or QTLS preferred, or willingness to work towards it
  • Relevant degree in teaching subject (desirable)
  • SEN or specialist teaching qualifications (desirable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
