Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit on the behalf of a Romsey based school for a Teacher of Mathematics for September 2019 on a full time basis.

As a teacher at this OFSTED rated 'Good', you will gain access to a high quality induction programme, wide ranging professional development opportunities, and be encouraged and supported to develop educational leadership skills.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of excellent teaching and learning of Mathematics, experience of teaching Further Maths would be an advantage. The role is suited to well-motivated practitioners keen to share their enthusiasm for Mathematics in the classroom as well as contributing to our department as part of a creative team of teachers.

Mathematics and Further Mathematics are very popular and successful A level courses and each year continue with the subject into the sixth form. The School prides their selves on offering a range of extra-curricular events and challenges to enabling the students to thrive in and out of the Maths classroom. The department has 7 specialist teaching rooms each equipped with interactive whiteboards and a range of mathematics teaching software. The Faculty also includes the Computer Science department. There is also easy access to PC suites for all teaching groups.

School Information: 11-18 comprehensive school, successful, oversubscribed and popular school serving the Romsey area. The roll is over 1200 with a well-established sixth form. Results at all levels are consistently above national averages and Ofsted described our students as having 'excellent personal and social skills' who 'achieve well academically'.
