Location - Cannock
Salary - £100.00 - £120.00 per day depending on experience
Start Date - September 2026

We are looking for dedicated Behaviour Specialists / Behaviour Mentors to work within supportive secondary schools, helping students develop positive behaviours, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.
Whether you have experience working in schools, youth work, coaching, social care, residential care, or another behaviour support setting, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
As a Behaviour Specialist / Mentor, you will:
- Provide one-to-one and small group behaviour support.
- Build positive relationships with students who require additional guidance.
- Support students with emotional, social, and behavioural needs.
- Help de-escalate challenging situations using positive behaviour strategies.
- Encourage engagement, attendance, and participation in learning.
- Work closely with teachers, pastoral teams, SEN staff, and parents to support student progress.
- Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
What We're Looking For
- Experience supporting children or young people with behavioural, emotional, or additional needs.
- Calm, patient, and resilient approach to challenging behaviour.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to remain professional and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- A genuine passion for helping young people succeed.
- Experience in education, youth work, sports coaching, mentoring, social care, or similar is desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
