Maths teacher - September 2018

Due to a change in our clients Maths department from September, there is an upcoming full time vacancy suitable for a skilled Mathematics teacher.

** Full time Maths teacher required, September 2018 start

** Open vacancy, opportunity to secure fixed term contract at school

** Excellent facilities in modern secondary school

** Situated in Manchester, just north of city centre

** Earn in line with MPS scale initially (£22917 - £38633)

Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of our client school to source a Mathematics teacher to start in September 2018. This post has arisen due to an established member of staff having to relocate due to family circumstances, so the school are keen to find a new member of their team, and have the capacity to take on a Maths teacher looking for career progression. The position would be a September 2018 start, and would involve full class teaching.

The school recently moved to a state of the art facility, and boasts modern provisions throughout including interactive learning spaces that staff and students can benefit from. The school has seen a recent climb in academic performance, and currently boasts Progress and Attainment 8 scores above the average for the Manchester authority. In their most recent Ofsted inspection, the school was noted to be 'a harmonious, collaborative environment where staff and students benefit from good standards of teaching.' The school is situated just north of Manchester city centre, and has good locality to public transport services as well as the M60.

This post is ideal for all levels of experience, and the school would welcome a newly qualified teacher of Maths or a more established teacher looking for their next post in education. The incoming Maths teacher will benefit from regular professional development, as well as a school that will invest resources in aiding those potentially looking at moving in to management in the future.

Due to the late nature of this vacancy becoming available, the school are looking to initially hire the Maths teacher through Teaching Personnel with a view to the successful applicant securing a permanent post within the school. If you would like to be taken in to consideration for this post, please don't delay in responding to this advert via the link provided, or contacting Miles at Manchester North Secondary directly.
