Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a Mathematics Teacher for a successful secondary school in Newcastle. The successful Teacher will be joining a school with impressive results across the board. Ofsted rated this school "Outstanding" with special praise of the quality of teaching and senior management team.
This Teaching position is a fixed-term position at the moment until the end of the summer term, but may be extended into the new academic year. The position is covering a teacher on maternity leave. The position is to start late-May 2019 and will consist of a 0.5 timetable, but this may be changed prior to the starting date. The role involves teaching Maths across KS3-KS4.
Specific Details about the role:
- Mathematics Teaching role across KS3 - KS4
- Part-time timetable - 1.5-3 days per week
- Fixed-term initially but may be permanent for the right teacher

In order to be considered for this role, the Maths Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor of Education / PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree with QTS
- Proven experience teaching the UK, or an equivalent, curriculum
- NQTs and/or OS-trained teachers are welcome to apply
- Have strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills
- Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
- Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police check.
