Maths Teacher - Luton full time

Date posted : 21/03/19
£130 - £175 per day + dependent on experience

Job description

This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...

Are you passionate about helping KS3, KS4 or KS5 develop their mathematical knowledge?

Would you like to join a welcoming, successful and supportive Maths Team?

Are you an ambitious teacher looking for an opportunity to develop and grow your career?

If you have answered yes to these questions Teaching Personnel would like to hear from you!

I am currently looking to recruit a motivated Teacher of Maths to work directly in a large secondary school in Luton. Maths is often a subject perceived as challenging, but studying abstract concepts like Algebra allows students to think in new ways, build new connections and understand problems in a way they may not have seen before. Therefore, we are looking for a passionate teacher that will break down those barriers to learning and help students excel in Maths.

  • Are you a Newly Qualified Teacher looking for a school that will invest time, training and support in order for you to be the best teacher you can be?
  • Or maybe you're an aspirational Teacher that wants to get into Middle or Senior Leadership but haven't been given the right opportunities or support to get there…

Job Specifics:

  • Start Date: April 2019
  • Salary: Main Pay Scale or Upper Pay Scale (dependent on experience)
  • Job Role: Full time

Why work with an Agency:

  • Flexible working hours and complete control of your own diary
  • More opportunities to work across a consortium of schools
  • Higher pay rate than permanent contracts - quite often a daily rate is higher than a salary
  • Not signed into a terms notice if the school isn't right for you
  • A consultant dedicated to finding you the right role - we work for you to find the best role as much as you work through us
  • Someone who can negotiate on your behalf to make sure the role is exactly what you wish
  • A pool of references from schools you have worked with
  • Bonus referrals for teachers who work through us off your recommendation - uncapped! The more you refer the more you earn EASY!
  • CPD Academy - we are currently offering a FREE course to teachers with QTS who would like to re-train and become maths teachers

To apply for this role or to hear of similar roles please contact Emma and send over your up to date CV.
