Maths Teacher

Are you a Newly Qualified Maths Teacher or Experienced Secondary School Maths Teacher looking for an exciting new role?

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with Secondary Schools in North West Bradford and Craven who are looking to appoint Maths Teachers in the new academic year. As a Maths Teacher you will be joining a Maths Department that has high expectation of their students and is a supportive staff department to their colleagues.

The ideal candidate:

  • Will have experience teaching students age 11-16 in Maths.
  • Have a sound knowledge of the current Maths curriculum up to GCSE Level.
  • Have experience planning, delivering and marking lessons and class work.
  • Set high expectations to inspire and drive students to succeed.
  • Be able to recognise students requiring intervention and apply intervention techniques.
  • Hold a DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to apply for one.

The role will involve teaching students from year 7 - 11 in Maths, including the GCSE Maths Curriculum. You will be expected to plan lessons, set homework, mark class work, provide feedback to students and parents/carers when required, maintain school standards and enforce the schools behaviour policy. Other responsibilities could include break or lunch time duty, end of day bus duty and supporting staff with lunch clubs.
