Exciting opportunity for a Maths Teacher seeking a new opportunity from April 2021!

Teaching Personnel are working with a Secondary School in the Bournemouth area, seeking an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will be fully supported and will have the opportunity to demonstrate existing skills and knowledge in a hard-working yet exciting atmosphere. 

This is a full time teaching role, with time allocated for PPA. This is a temporary role for the Summer Term, however has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. 

Roles & Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for teaching Maths at KS3 and 4
• You will be responsible for planning and presenting appealing and innovative lessons to mixed ability students
• You will be an integral part of the future success of the department and the school more widely

The successful candidate will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status in the UK (NQT's and comparable Overseas teacher training will be considered)
• Experience teaching Maths up to GCSE Level
• Resilience and Confidence dealing with challenging behaviour
• The ability to differentiate learning to pupils with additional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
