Teaching Assistant – SEMH School | West Molesey
We are seeking a compassionate and resilient Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEMH provision in West Molesey, Surrey.
This role involves 1:1 support for pupils in Year 9–Year 11, working on a Year 5-based curriculum tailored to meet individual learning needs.
The Role:

Provide dedicated 1:1 support to students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
-
Adapt learning materials to suit individual ability levels
-
Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
-
Support behaviour regulation and emotional development
-
Work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams
We’re looking for someone who:

Has experience supporting children with SEMH or challenging behaviour
-
Is calm, patient and consistent
-
Can confidently differentiate work to a primary level
-
Is passionate about making a meaningful difference

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
