Learning Support Assistant
Location: Guildford, Surrey
Hours: Full-time (term-time only)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
We are seeking a caring, patient, and motivated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our supportive and welcoming team in Guildford. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people by supporting their learning and development.
The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

Support pupils with additional learning needs, either one-to-one or in small groups
-
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
-
Help create a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment
-
Encourage independence, confidence, and social development
-
Support pupils with SEND, EAL, or behavioural needs (depending on experience)
About You
We are looking for someone who:
-
Is patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic about working with children
-
Has good communication and teamwork skills
-
Can adapt to different learning needs and styles
-
Has previous experience working with children (preferred but not essential)
-
Holds relevant qualifications or is willing to undertake training

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
