Maths Teacher - Speke, Liverpool
- Full Time, Temporary role in the first instance with potential to be extended
- NQTs and experienced Teachers encouraged to apply and will be considered
- Salary to reflect MPS/UPS (GBP24,373 - GBP40,490)
The school based in the Speke area of Liverpool, require a temporary teacher of Maths to join them from November to cover a period of leave. Despite the role being temporary, they are seeking to recruit an ambitious practitioner who has exceptional subject knowledge, is innovative and drives excellence.
The department consists of large team of KS3, KS4 and KS5 specialists who work hard to achieve a good atmosphere where staff work in collaboration with one another, support one another’s CPD and share work load. As a member of the Maths team, you will be required to participate in the all inclusive enrichment programme they offer every student, a programme of which they are proud of.
To be considered for the role you should:
- Have UK QTS with a good first degree in a Maths related subject
- Have expert knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum
- Be whiling to upskill yourself to offer teaching and learning at KS5
- Have a good sense of humour, be able to build excellent relationships with staff and students alike
- Be an excellent communicator and be adaptable to provide an all inclusive mathematical programme
- Have excellent classroom management skills demonstrating good pace, progress and reflective learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
