A welcoming and well-established secondary school in Weymouth is seeking a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to join their team as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced education professionals looking to gain valuable classroom experience within a supportive school environment.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring students remain engaged and on task while maintaining a positive learning atmosphere.

The Role:

• Supervising classes during teacher absences
• Delivering pre-set lesson materials
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively
• Supporting students with their learning and engagement
• Working across Key Stages 3 and 4

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with young people is desirable
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Confident leading groups of students
• Flexible, adaptable and professional approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
