Maths Teacher

Job description

I am currently looking to recruit a Full-time Maths Teacher on behalf of my partner school based in Bradford to start in September. They are currently looking for strong and dedicated Maths teacher with a track record of raising attainment to start from September till December at the very least.

The school in question is a specialist provision for students who are unable to attend mainstream school due to a number of reasons. The school are looking for someone who has a passion towards their subject, is patient and shows encouragement towards students. Students are aged between 11 - 18, many of whom have social, emotional, mental health needs (SEMH) and can display disruptive or challenging behaviour, therefore being able to deliver creative, fun and engaging lessons is paramount.

What I am looking for

  • Experience teaching 9 - 1 GCSE Mathematics
  • The ability to plan and deliver engaging, fun and inclusive lessons
  • Be able to contribute to the department with marking
  • Have knowledge or experience of working with students who display challenging behaviour
  • Be part of the school - attend parents evenings, open days, after school clubs etc
  • Evidence of recent results and progress
  • Ideally have relevant training such as Safeguarding, MAPPA, Team Teach however this can be provided

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
