A large Kent based secondary school looking for a Maths teacher to join them in September as schools look to reopen to all students. The successful Maths teacher will be joining a highly supportive Mathematics department at this large well-known secondary school. As the appointed teacher of Maths you will be teaching the AQA curriculum at both KS3 and KS4 up to GCSE level. Any experience of teaching AQA Maths would be beneficial and desirable.

Being located in the Tameside area, making it very easily accessible for any Maths teachers travelling from the surrounding areas. The school is located close to the Metrolink tram stop making it easy to commute to for those on public transport. For those who commute by car, the school has a secure car park with the school being set in very pleasant residential surroundings. The local M60 ring road is also closeby making the school accessible for those travelling from further afar.

Highlights of this Maths teaching position:

  • Full time Maths teacher required starting on Monday 7th September
  • Duration: full academic year with the possibility to transition onto a school based contract part way through the year
  • Highly reputable and well-known secondary school situated in Tameside
  • Within commutable distance for those travelling from Stockport, Tameside, East Manchester and Oldham as well as Greater Manchester
  • Pay will be dependent upon experience and payscale; earning potential up to GBP2700 per month

The school being a reputable secondary school in the local area prides itself on providing a first class education to all students, with Maths being a subject they have generally excelled in. They are therefore looking for a passionate, strong Maths teacher who is able to teach across the full age and ability range. There is currently a team of 13 Maths teachers within the large Maths department. The successful teacher will benefit from collaborating with the whole team as well as sharing resources.
