Job description

Nursery Teaching Assistant – Full Time (Easter to Summer Term)
Location: Plymouth
Start: Easter | Duration: Until end of Summer Term
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a full-time Nursery Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming primary school in Plymouth from Easter until the end of the summer term.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with EYFS experience who is passionate about supporting young children in a nurturing and engaging environment.

The Role:

  • Supporting children within a nursery setting

  • Assisting with play-based learning and development

  • Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment

  • Supporting children’s social, emotional, and educational development

  • Working closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team

Requirements:

  • Previous EYFS / nursery experience is essential

  • A valid DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new one

  • A caring, patient, and proactive approach

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

  • Availability for the full duration of the role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
