Maths Teacher

Teacher of Mathematics – Darlington 

Role and Responsibilities:

• Maths Teacher required 
• Starting May 2021 until July 2021 with the possibility of a permanent contract (Covering an open vacancy intially) 
• Teaching KS3 and KS4 Maths as a subject specialist
• Development and improvement of Maths resources within the department
• Willingness to participate in the school’s extra-curricular programme
• Could earn from GBP115-GBP209.75 per day
• Excellent behaviour management essential

The Essentials:

• Must be available for full time work from May 2021 
• Must have QTS – both experienced teachers and NQTs are welcome to apply
• Must have suitable school-based references
• Must have or be willing and able to apply for a fully enhanced DBS certificate

Specifics:

You will be asked to teach KS3 and KS4 Mathematics. This will range across all abilities and you may be asked to teach some intervention groups. The schools behaviour is generally very good however; at times you may be required to manage some challenging pupils. They are looking for someone to work 5 days a week from May 2021 to July 2021 with the possibility of a school based contract for the new academic year.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
