- Full time Maths teaching position – December 2016 start

- Working within a high achieving and supportive Maths department

This is an excellent secondary school, where the successful Maths teacher will receive full support from an experienced head of Maths. Pupil behaviour was graded ‘Outstanding’ and you will have the opportunity to focus on teaching your subject rather than simply managing behaviour.

Situated within the Bolton Council, the school neighbours the communities of Blackrod, Bolton, Atherton and Hindley. The school is average in size with around 1000 pupils on roll. The vast majority of children are of white British heritage and the number of pupils with learning difficulties or a statement for special needs is below the national average. Located close to Westhoughton, the School is easily accessible as it is only a short drive from the M61 and has direct transport links to the surrounding areas.
