Maths Teacher

Job description

Mathematics Teacher required on North Yorkshire

  • Excellent opportunity to join a good school in North Yorkshire
  • Maternity cover from January 2018
  • Competitive rates of pay

My client school is looking for a Maths teacher to join their thriving department in January to cover for a maternity. The post is to work part time (0.8 of the timetable, Monday to Thursday) and it will entail delivering Maths to GCSE and A-level. The latest Ofsted report for the school is "good" and the school is striving to get to "outstanding". The school enjoys close support from the local community. This generates a family atmosphere in school where relationships between staff and students, and amongst the student body, are unusually strong. They have a mutually supportive environment. Students feel able to take risks in extending their learning because others are happy to celebrate their success. The young people know that those around them will be pleased when they do well, whether that be in sport, music, art, drama or in any academic subject where they have a particular gift or talent that can shine. Creating these opportunities for every young person and capturing it, with recognition and reward, when they do well, provides the cornerstone for each child to develop and flourish. Please call Eli Stokes on 01482 312046 or email your CV to elisa.stokes@teachingpersonnel.com if you are interested in the post. Secure your perfect role for September through Teaching Personnel.
