Maths Teacher

Teaching Personnel the market leaders in education recruitment, are seeking an experienced Maths Teacher to work within our modern, high achieving and thriving client's secondary school. The Maths Teacher role will involve teaching the AQA Maths curriculum to KS3-4 students. With five different sets within the Maths departments, you will be required to teach students with a range of different academic abilities, who will require different levels of support.

  • Full time Maths Teacher
  • Position required to start immediately
  • Located in Warrington
  • Paid on a weekly basis through our PAYE scheme (£23,720 - £39,406 annually)
  • Temporary position with the opportunity of a permanent position
  • Teaching KS3-4 students
  • Lesson planning and marking required

The Head of the Maths department within our client's secondary school is looking to fill an open vacancy, for the first term of the academic year, with the vision of keeping the successful Maths Teacher on if they get on well. They are seeking a Maths Teacher who has experience teaching Maths to KS3-4 students and KS5 would be desirable, who has a proven track record for achieving high grades.

The ideal candidate will be located in the Warrington area with a full driving licence with their own transport; have experience teaching the AQA Maths Curriculum to secondary school students; is a available to start a full time Maths Teacher role immediately and has a confident, outgoing classroom presence to be able to engage with all the students and get the very best out of them.

The successful secondary school is located in the heart of Warrington, with excellent transport links close by making it easy for those who drive and use public transport to access our client's school. The secondary school have recently received an 'Outstanding' Ofsted rating, with an above average progress 8 score. The Maths Department you will be joining have a good reputation for the amount of support they offer their students and the grades they produce.
