Role: Maths Teacher

Start: September 2024

Contract: Full time, temporary or permanent opportunities available.

Salary: MPR/UPS

Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a coeducational day and boarding, senior school and sixth form located in South Downs countryside of West Sussex, seeking two Maths specialists for September 2024.  The school was graded ‘GOOD’ with ‘OUTSTANDING’ features during their most recent Ofsted visit, with inspectors commenting that ‘Students make exceptional progress.  They develop social and independent skills as well as academic success’.

The school are seeking a teacher/s of Maths from September 2024, to join the department on a full time, permanent basis, applicants seeking longer term temporary work will also be considered.  The successful teacher will be welcomed into a team of subject specialists and teach across KS3 and KS4, however there is opportunity to teach at KS5 for the right candidate.  The school is based in a rural location across 3 sites, so being a driver is important.  Educators who are interested in this position, will be asked to complete a basic application form to accompany their CV.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience of delivering Maths GCSE
  • Suitable school-based references
  • Have and up to date DBS with the Update Service/be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS
  • A willingness to undertake CPD and contribute to the wider school life
  • Be educated to degree level
  • Hold QTS (or an equivalent qualification)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
