Job description

Role: Maths Teacher

Start: 15th April 2024

Contract: Full time, September 2024

Salary: MPR/UPR

Teaching Personnel work in partnership with an 11-18 co-educational secondary school and Sixth Form with an academy status, graded ‘GOOD’, with ‘OUTSTANDING’ Sixth Form during Ofsted’s most recent visit.  The school is easily accessible by car or public transport and is located in Salisbury.

The school are looking to appoint a dynamic teacher of Maths Teacher to join their department as soon as possible, on a full-time, temporary basis until April or July 2024.  The department members are all outstanding in their own individual way, with a wide range of experience and teaching styles. 

Ideally you will:

  • Be an excellent classroom practitioner with an enjoyment of working with young people
  • Have effective classroom management and an ability to demonstrate resilience in working with challenging behaviour
  • Have effective time management; able to prioritise workload to meet deadlines and targets
  • Be an excellent team player, genuinely committed to working in partnership with others
  • Be an excellent communicator to a variety of audiences with good interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
  • Be a reflective practitioner committed to developing own teaching and learning strategies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
