Maths teacher

Teaching personnel are currently looking to recruit a Maths teacher with a track record of achieving excellent results on behalf of an 11-16 secondary school located in Salford.

This is a 12 month maternity cover position, however due to a restructuring within the Maths department, their may well be a permanent opportunity for the successful Maths teacher.

• Maths Teacher - Teaching both KS3 and KS4 Students

• Pay in line with MPS and UPS (£22,917 - £33,824)

• 12 month maternity cover - September 2018 start

• Responsible for preparing students for there GCSE exams

This high achieving Worsley based secondary school are currently looking to appoint an enthusiastic Maths teacher that can come in and hit the ground running in the absence of a well established Maths teacher. With the current post holders maternity leave expected to start with the summer holidays, the school are looking to appoint a Maths teacher prior to the summer.

The successful candidate must be able to teach Maths to students ranging in ability and be able to have a positive effect on students that may otherwise struggle to engage. The Head of department hopes to appoint a Maths teacher with the ability to stretch the learning of all pupils no matter what their ability.

This high school is a larger than average secondary school with roughly 1100 pupils on roll. The schools leadership, Management and pupil behaviour are all identified as key areas that have been improved in recent years.
