Due to an unforeseen absence after Christmas, our client school have an open vacancy within their Mathematics department for a qualified Maths teacher to join them teaching Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Payment in line with MPS/UPS
- Initial term on supply with successful Maths teacher given opportunity to gain permanent work

Our client school is a large community school in Rochdale, which serves the local community with the majority of the 1200+ pupils on roll from the local area. The school is constantly improving across key areas such as behaviour and safety and the standards of teaching and learning, along with receiving an increase in their grading by Ofsted late last year.
This post as a Maths teacher will involve assuming full departmental responsibility for planning, marking and assessment across Key Stage 3 and 4, with the majority of the time table working across Years 7, 8 and 9. The incoming Maths teacher will be supported for the first term by the lead practitioner of Maths as they make their transition into working in this welcoming and successful department.
Requirements of post;
- QTS and relevant teaching based qualification specialising in Mathematics
- Previous experience delivering Mathematics across 11-16
- Commitment to securing a long term placement in an excellent department
