A 'Good' secondary school in Leyland are seeking a Teacher of Maths ASAP on a full-time basis, due to an unexpected long term absence within the department.
The successful Maths Teacher will be joining a department of 5 members of staff and will be responsible for teaching KS3/4 Maths across school.
This will be an on-going position with the potential of a permanent role, should the initial placement be successful. Due to the un-expected nature of this role, the school are looking for someone to join them ASAP for the foreseeable.
The secondary school, which is judged 'Good' by Ofsted, is situated just outside of Leyland town centre with accessible public transport links and within close proximity of the M6 and M61. Staff and pupils at the school are extremely welcoming and the successful Maths Teacher will be treated like a permanent member of staff.
To be suitable for this role, you must have:
- Valid UK PGCE
- Recent experience of teaching KS3/4 Maths
- Commitment to a full-time post
- Excellent Maths subject knowledge
