Maths Tutor – Nottinghamshire

TP Tutors is seeking knowledgeable and enthusiastic Maths Tutors to deliver high-quality, personalised tuition across Nottinghamshire. This is an excellent opportunity to help learners strengthen their mathematical understanding and build confidence in their abilities.

About the Role

As a Maths Tutor, you will deliver tailored one-to-one and small-group lessons in learners’ homes, schools, or local community venues. Sessions will be designed to meet individual needs—covering core mathematical concepts, exam preparation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging maths tuition (KS2–KS4, including GCSE)

• Adapt teaching to suit various learning styles and abilities

• Simplify complex topics such as algebra, geometry, and numeracy

• Track progress and provide constructive feedback

• Follow safeguarding and child protection policies

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of the maths curriculum

• Previous teaching or tutoring experience (SEND/SEMH experience desirable)

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Patient, flexible, and supportive teaching style

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

• Current safeguarding training
