TP Tutors is looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable Maths Tutors to deliver high-quality tuition in Beeston and the surrounding Nottinghamshire area. This role is ideal for teachers and tutors who are passionate about helping learners overcome challenges and build confidence in maths.

About the Role

You will deliver personalised one-to-one and small-group tuition in maths, either in students’ homes, schools, or local community venues. Lessons will be adapted to each learner’s ability, supporting progress in core maths skills and preparation for exams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide tailored tuition from KS2 through to KS4 (including GCSE)

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet individual learning needs

• Break down complex concepts such as algebra, geometry, and problem-solving

• Track progress and give clear, constructive feedback

• Follow safeguarding and child protection policies

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of the maths curriculum

• Previous teaching or tutoring experience (SEND/SEMH experience desirable)

• Excellent communication and planning skills

• Patient, flexible, and approachable teaching style

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

• Current safeguarding training
