Due to an open vacancy within the Maths department, a School in the north of Nottingham (Mansfield area) are seeking a teacher of Maths to begin in September 2020. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach Maths to GCSE (the ability to teach to A-level is admirable). The school are looking to appoint the candidate initially on a temporary basis for  1 term, although there will be a permanent contract opportunity for the right candidate.

The School itself is Catholic and a recent OFSTED mentioned how 'the school is a cohesive and inclusive community that is characterised by pupils who are highly respectful of each other and very polite. Pupils conduct themselves very well, both in classrooms and around the school when they are less supervised by adults'.

The ideal candidate will have:

-NQT/QTS status and experience teaching across the age and ability range at KS3 up to A-level

-Experience delivering Mathematics in a secondary environment

-The ability to plan and deliver Maths lessons that challenge and stretch students to maximise their progress
